LiveU Solo Y Cable
The Y cable can be used to connect up to four LiveU modems to a Solo unit. The LiveU Solo Y Cable can add capacity and reliability to streams securely by connecting additional modems to the unit.
Stream Securely
The LiveU Solo Pro Y Cable is suitable for users who already use other methods of securing their modems.
- You will see each of the modems in your connection list on the Solo Portal
- You will see bit rates for individual modems
- You can use the enable/disable tools on the unit or in the portal to enable or disable a specific modem. Note: An enable/disable will cause the modem on the same cable to temporarily reset and reconnect after
Please Note: When using the LiveU Net 4G or 5G modems via the Y cable, you should plug in both modems to the Y cable, then plug in the cable into the unit (or boot the unit with the cable connected), rather than plug in the Y cable, then plug in each individual modem.
